George had worked as an intentional interim ministry specialist since 1996 and is pleased to be taking his first incumbency since he was priest-in-charge of St. Barnabas, Tsuu T'ina Nation (located in Alberta) from 1992 to 1996.
He was ordained in 1986, after graduating from Emanuel & St. Chad College in Saskatoon.
George is on his fourth major career. A career with the Solicitor General Department in Alberta followed, and when George and Helen left to go to theological college in Saskatoon in 1983, George was Community Corrections Administrator for the Lac La Biche district, while Helen was a reporter and feature writer for the Lac La Biche Post, a weekly newspaper.
