The Banff Volunteer Centre Coffee House on April 17, 2012 was a great success. Approximately 80 people attended and thanks to donations we raised $300 towards the church restoration fund.

On Sunday April, 1st 2011 the Parish of St. George's in the Pines joined the Sunday Service at Rundle Memorial United Church. This was our second recent opportunity to worship with our friends of Rundle Memorial. We were blessed when the Rundle Memorial congregation joined us at St. George's in the Pines in March. We look forward to our next opportunity to share fellowship with Rundle Memorial and thank the parishioners from St. Georges in the Pines and Rundle Memorial for taking part in this exchange.

St. George's-in-the-Pines enjoyed a Coffee House on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. It was co-sponsored by the Banff Volunteer Centre.

Coffee House and Fellowship

St. George's-in-the-pines hosted a coffee house on Wednesday, April 13 2011 sponsored by the Banff Volunteer Center.

Over 100 people were in attendance and there were some great performances. It was like the 1960's when there were coffee houses, often in churches, in many Canadian churches.

Fundraiser Bake Sale, for Twin Disasters in Japan - Sunday, April 10

On Sunday following our 11 am service, the Sunday School of St. Georges-in-the-Pines hosted a fundraiser by selling baked goodies and crafts.

Over $300 was raised and will be sent to the survivors of the twin disasters in Japan with PWRDF.
