St. George's-in-the-Pines Anglican Church is a beautiful setting for musical and other theatrical performances.  The accoustics in the chapel are of a very high quality. 

The church receives many enquiries from choirs and soloists about booking the church chapel for performances.  We are pleased to make the chapel available for such purposes, provided the material is appropriate for the Sanctuary.

However, there are two conditions under which we make the chapel available:

1. There is a non-refundable booking fee of $100.00 

2. All performers are responsible for their own publicity (posters, newspaper and radio ads, etc.)

St. George's will post notices of the event(s) here on it's website and will provide a "sandwich board" type of sign on the sidewalk outside the chruch on the date of the performance, upon which to place your own promotional poster.  

Other than these two actions, St. George's does not provide any other marketing or promotion services.  In the past, many performers have been disappointed in the poor audience turn out for their performances.  Banff is a busy town, especially in the summer, and it is often difficult to attract a significant audience.

3. For this reason, St. George's will regretfully decline any offer to host a performance where we receive the proceeds of the "gate" in lieu of the booking fee.
